2010: Paul Jenson Finally Wins!

2010

League Champion: Paul Jenson
Runner-Up: John Lonneman

The 2010 season was a rollercoaster ride for League Champion Paul Jenson. Paul snuck into the playoffs as the #6 seed, needing a 1 point win in week 13 to even qualify for the playoffs.  In the first round, he fended off a late rally from Jon Lawritson to move on against Donny Junge.  After a cruising victory, Paul was matched up against league power John Lonneman.  But John's team would manage only 82 points in the Final and Paul picked up his 4th League Championship!

Former Champion Brett Black sent along this fine Congratulation card with the trophy:

League Champion: Brett Black
Runner-Up: Jon Lawritson

A triumphant return to the title for League Legend Brett Black.  Behind a strong cast of Philip Rivers, Randy Moss, Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice, Brett cruised the Championship winning $902 along the way.
This season brought more expansion, up to 12 teams, with the additions of Sam Wilson and Jon Lawritson.  Both have made the playoffs in each season they have been in the league.

I hated giving up the trophy to Brett, so in my depression I made the following video:

League Champion: Paul Jenson
Runner-Up:  Charlie Haney

The trophy returned home to Paul Jenson in 2008.  Paul also won $890, with Charlie taking home $150 for second place.  This marked Charlie's 3rd consecutive season in the Finals.  This season also marked the decline of LT though and Charlie hasn't been back since.

Alex won $624 and the trophy.  I don't seem to have a picture of Alex.  Here's the house where we all lived in Des Moines.  This is the year that I had to stop doing to website by myself and we started to use the ESPN site.  Thus, you can view the historical data here:
